Commercial Description:
Noted for the smooth and mellow balance between malt and hops, its dark copper color flashes garnet when held to the light.

On tap: Appearance: Ruby red with a nice white head. Served in a Big Rock glass. Aroma: Nice cinnamon, caramel and malt nose. Flavour: Malt, hops, nuts with a long dry finish. I was quite surprised by this.

341ml Bottle A nice taste to it. Definitely another personal favorite from Big Rock. Its a nice bitterness on the palate, but a softening taste prevails if you let it stay on your tongue for a second. A nutty taste will hit the back of your throat as well.

Pours a reddish amber color with a light bubbly head that is thin and diminishes quickly. Aroma is very sweet caramel, some nuttieness. Flavor is like drink liquid walnuts, the only thing your missing is some of that nut skin that flakes off in your mouth but your mouth even feels somewhat dry, as if it were there. I give them credit that the beer did have a lot of flavor, walnut, but overall its a beer I would have pretty infrequently (if available to me).

20oz Pint of Draft, The Slice Bar, Lethbridge AB. Great chestnut brown color. Floral aroma with a hint of caramel. Flavor is deep and rich. Flavor is caramel, rosted malts, and a very smooth hopy finish. This is one of my favorite beers. It is best on tap. Once you have had Trad on tap, drinking it from the bottle or can is pretty disapointing.

Pours out of the bottle a reddish-copper colour with a very small off white head. Smells of caramel, apples and spice. Tastes of caramel, apples, a touch of spice, and that’s about it. Watery feel, pleasant but nothing great.

Bottle. Some Malt, caramel. Maybe a little thin. Unremarkable amber ale, but nothing offensive by any means, so pretty good.

A basic amber type ale. Moderately drinkable. Not one that I would go out of my way for.

Bottle: Amber. Aromas of sweet malt. Fruity with a toasty likeness...a hint of grapefruit and raisin. Watery; just a trifle dry. Unimaginative .
