| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 25, 2008 Can. Malts smelled of moderate cookie and nutty, hops of light grass, light dough for the yeast, and toffee and a faint hint of red wine. Head was frothy/fizzy, off-white, with virtually no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color was sparkling clear brown. Flavor starts moderately acidic and the short finishes is lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a slight creaminess to it, and the carbonation was a little too fizzy. It finishes metalic and lightly astringent. Nice aroma but not much to the flavor, and the can left it’s mark on the finish mullet2007 (206), St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2007 Pours a deep red too amber color with a nice offwhite head that doesn’t last too long. Aroma is slighty hoppy and has a nice malty backing, very pleasant. Flavor is very much citrus or grapefruit hops, with a detectable malt backing. Very low carbonation, but not too thin. A nice beer. matt7215 (981), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada

Flavour of malt, bitter hops and honey, quite sweet. Leaves a syrupy texture, but of a dull flat ale. furballman (25), Seoul, South Korea
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 21, 2007 It’s a pretty good beer, but big rock makes some better ones, in my opinion. I prefer grasshopper or warthog, myself. But this is not a bad beer for a switch from either of those once in a while if you are a big rock fan. dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Pours a clear dark hazelnut colour with a clinging tan head. Smells of citrusy hops and . Mouth feel is very lightly carbonated, and oily. Taste is nutty roasty. Full of malts and some toffee. Finishes off sweet and smooth with a barely there bitter. Not too bad at all. Only problem is the aroma doesn’t seem to match the taste.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Oct 5, 2007 This beer is all over the place. I can’t figure out what is wrong with it. It has many good attributes but falls short. It is almost great but has troubles that condemn it to mediocrity.
