Smells like chocolate, malts and almost like wet-dog. Mostly flavors of nuts and chocolate with a earthy presence. Maybe some sweet malty notes as well. It is drinkable...but there is that wet dog aroma.

A decent little beer. OK for a session. It is better then the molson and labatt beers. A little malty and slightly hoppy, using a very neutral yeast.

Medium brown color. Small head. Aroma is malty. A lighter bodied brown ale. Kind of mild and a little sweet, some nuttiness. Sort of light a Newcastle light. Very drinkable, but everything is just a little mild. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

At one time I rather liked this...especially on tap. Now, as there are more and more beers available, I find this rather bland, but still quaffable

Copper in color with a white head that pours medium sized but then thins out fast. the thin version of the head lasts through the whole pint but doesnt leave much lacing. the aroma is reminiscent of many good english beers, lots of malty toffee likie aromas pouring out of the glass. the flavor is only a little toffee like, it is not as apparent as it is in the aroma. there is a bitter flavor only at the end of the taste. slight hop flavor in the middle. the mouthfeel is too light. it is just short of a medium mouthfeel and the carbonation is very high for this beer. if it were flatter, no i’m not gonna sit and wait for that, it would probably be a bit better but it is just too light in the mouth right now.

Wow. No discernable flavor or character. Smells ungood, though not spoilt. What a terrible mistake.
