Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of earthy malt, not bad. Thinnish body. Flavour is mild and slightly fruity, with mellow roasted malt in the middle and a moderately bitter finish. A fairly middle of the road ale - certainly nothing wrong with it, but not something I’d go out of my way to have again. gilvanblight (397), Windsor, Ontario, Canada
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 1, 2006 Thin head over an amber brown pour. Odd nose, like vegitables, carrots. Fiarly plain with high carbonation. Really not much flavour here. Bitter aftertaste rises quickly and lingers. I used to thing this was good stuff before I got into much better beer. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 30, 2005 Bottle. Clear amber body with average carbonation and diminishing off-white frothy head. Fair malty aroma with bready notes. Taste is mild and, as for the aroma, lacks hoppiness. Finish is short and discreet. Not bad, but not exciting. traypack (5), British Columbia, Canada does not count | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Nov 29, 2005 Nice light fruity aroma, grainy, taste is grainy with a Hint of chocolate, flavors dont match well. Poured clear bubbly gold with an average beige head. Aroma of fresh oats, sweet malt and some sprucey hops. Tasted of grains and hops to start, some oaky malt, but mostly grain flavour. Creamy and lively mouthfeel, average body. Decent Canadian cream ale, it has character. HazelRah (276), Summerland, British Columbia, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 19, 2005 Pours a translucent reddish-brown. Large near-white head leaving bubbly lace. Aroma somewhat malty and sweet. Really not a lot to say, doesn’t stand out from other big rock beers. As a brown ale is too light on the eyes and palate. In a word: unexpressive.
