It’s actually fairly quaffable though not particularly interesting. jerc (3964), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

aroma, and the lead in of the flavour. Minerally notes with watery moments.
Very mild bitterness. Average palate, dry minerally aftertaste lingers.
Bottle from LCBO singles bin may not be in its prime. Decent, but a pale
shadow of the beer as I remembered it on tap many years ago, which I equated
roughly to Bass at the time. Deserves a second chance but this sample
doesn’t make me eager to spring for a full six pack. GiBrew (171), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jul 19, 2005 Golden brown colour (kinda like iced tea) with a small head that dissipates very quickly. Very little aroma; Flavours are mostly yeast and malt, somewhat watered down - Not exactly what I call a cream ale.... Kevin (1920), Colorado, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jul 12, 2005 pours an iced tea color with a greyish head. aroma is some chocolate and lemon. taste is not good, a bit wheaty with some peanut flavor and some chocolate in the finish. lemon is there also. the tastes don’t mesh and leave an altogether unpleasant mouthfeel to go with a chalky caramel that is bad. i feel lucky it was an 11.5 oz bottle, the less i have to drink of this the better. I found this cream ale to have a light & sweet aftertaste...but don’t get me wrong...this isn’t a light beer. The flavor stares you down just like the red eyed warthog on the label!
