| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2004 Bought 2 of these from the liquor store "odds" section....didn’t want a 6 as I had my fill of this in Calgary. It’s what I used to think was a micro brew before I knew any better. Pours a crystal clear amber-brown color with a small head that reduces quickly. Slight understated aromas of roast malts, caramel. Starts light with the nutty malts out-balancing the weaker hops..medium light body...light clean finish. A better than the average tasting light ales from the Canadian macros.....more flavor but still not enough to satisfy my tastes in an ale. leitrim65 (398), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 31, 2004 Flavorful but an average brew at best. Pours a dark amber color. With aromas of roasted malt and caramel. Light to medium bodied, with flavors of roasted malt, caramel, and a somewhat unstructured hoppiness. Ahh!
