Crystal clear yellow gold, good sized white head that shrinks almost entirely but stays. Smells like corn. Smooth soft feel. Taste follows the small with a little sour that does not mix well. Not a fan of this beer at all. piscator34 (1129), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 7, 2007 Canned sample. Gold in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas of pale malt and corn. Light bodied and somewhat astringent. Some pale malt flavor, minerals, dried out grass, and just a hint of something smokey. Not good. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 7, 2007 can. clear light gold. light malt aroma. malt and grain taste. fizzy carbonation. more flavor and a cleaner taste than, say, bud or coors. for me, it ranks in there with canadian. i wouldn’t search it out, but it was somewhat refreshing after a string of bigger beers. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 12, 2007 If believing this is a Big Rock product, then don’t bother picking it off the shelf. If you have no palate and love a good guzzling pils, then treat yourself to this upgrade.
The recipe may be an ancient one - but I’m sure bad beers were brewed 165 years ago as well....
The only thing that saves this one is a decent feel in the mouth. CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Jul 7, 2007 (Bottle) Courtesy of Oakes. Pours a thin, white, dissipating head with a highly-carbonated golden body. I cannot mix words, this sucks. Pure creamed corn malt flavour with a grainy nose. Not to my liking. Not very good. Other seem to agree. OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jun 28, 2007 341 ml can. Pale yellow colour with a mostly diminishing creamy and fizzy white head. Grainy, corn, and yeasty aroma. Corn, grainy, and dirty yeast flavour that I pick up in most Big Rock beers. Light bodied, fizzy and lightly oily mouthfeel. Poor - and even worse when you consider the Corona Light I had after this was better.
