Excellent retention. The nose is of sweet caramel and brown sugar with an additional note of fallen wood. Full-bodied with a dry mouthfeel and dancing carbonation. I was perhaps a bit tipsy by this point, but anyway. Bottle number 915/1800. Pours a cloudy red color with a huge beige head. The nose is sweet, light malts and barrel. The flavor was warm; light fruit, spices, caramel, not very hoppy. An interesting brew.
