kyzr (1119), Belgrade, Montana, USA Aug 11, 2007 Gold with average white head. Nose of malt and hints of hops. Very sweet up front, not as sweet as their honey, but plenty of honey sweetness. Nice carbination with a light hoppy and dry finish. DrBayern (1135), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Jul 27, 2007 Draft at the brewery on 7/19/07. Clear gold under a medium white head. Grainy, peppery aroma with some light caramel. Medium body and light carbonation, with a pleasingly clean palate. Honey like sweetness offset by a softly citrus based bitterness, finishing clean adn dry. Skyview (4003), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 18, 2007 On draught at the Big Sky brewery’s tap room in Missoula, Montana. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a fast dissolving white head. Aroma of light caramel malt, citrus and flowery hops with a touch of clover honey. Taste is llightly carbonated, light to medium bodied with a good balance of malt and citrus hop flavors. Finish is slightly metalic, dry and then soft with a sweet citrus aftertaste. It’s a little light in flavor but the finish is still a good pale ale. Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA May 23, 2007 Draft 8 oz glass at the brewery tap; golden amber and pretty active with an average thin head. Brisk aroma of honey and hops...smooth tangy malt brew with quite a fruity hop undertow. Good light ale with a bite. (#2924, 5/19/2007)
