This beer has a great mix between the citrus and hops and the bitterness is very well balanced. I buy it for $8-$9 dollars a 6 pack and it is well worth the money. I could drink this beer alone, but I like to go back and forth between Dogfish Head 90 Minute and Goose Island IPA along with this beer. msante79 (835), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 21, 2009 12 oz bottle courtesy of the Binny’s Singles Rack (Orland Park, IL). Pours a fiery orange dark amber pour, medium head that dissipates to a small amount, whitish. Transparent body. Aromas are a moderate citrus hopping, heavy on lemon and grapefruit, mixed with some resinous pine. Hard to pick out much of a malt body in aroma. Initial is thin bodied, lacking substance. Watery brew with bitter hoppiness in body and finish. Astringent hoppiness. Devoid of a malt body. Bitterness is pine and some citrus. Highly unbalanced, thin. A lot of pine. Avoid this.
