Has a very nice hop and pine taste that is not overwhelming. Aroma is the same, but is rather prevalent and quite enjoyable. Refreshing, easy to drink and leaves me wanting more after each sip. For the price, this is a nice brew that is worth purchasing again. fidelis83 (724), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 19, 2008 Pours crisp copper with a 1 finger almond colored head, good retention, somwhat sparse lacing. Aroma is absolutely huge on pine hops, a little grapefruit, some grass, has a sort of generally sweet note without much malt character to the nose. Flavor is just as huge on pine, some bitter grapefruit, malts are slightly biscuity and straw. Body is a little warm and thin, fairly dry. A great IPA if you are a big fan of pine hops. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 29, 2008 Medium copper to amber colored body with a rocky, light khaki colored head. The aroma has strong grapefruit and some pine. There is also a dry woody note along with some sweet hard candy. The taste has bitter bread crust and some grapefruit. There is also a little bi of almond character. Nicely done. GJF (501), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2008 All hop on this one. Lots of grassy hop in the nose. A mix of citrus and grass in the taste with a long, long hop finish. It’s definitely a hophead beer, but a little unbalanced to my taste and could use a little more malt backbone. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2008 pours a dark copper colour with a large off white head.
Aroma is very fruity, some sweet strawberry, some grapefruit, some pine.
Flavour is initially bitter herbal hop and yellow grapefuit tartness. Some caramel trying to make it’s presence known in the middle but it goes right back down under the medium bitter finish.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2008 Pours a clear dark orange amber with a small white froth on top. Fresh hop aroma, peaches, apricots and pineapple. First taste is bitter and salty, quickly followed by sweet tropical fruits, apricot, peach, pineapple, papaya is a perfect descriptor. Medium/light bodied with finer soda carbonation, could definitely use more body. Lightly salty & bitter, more like a tropical fruit flavored diet-soda. Sir+Drinksalot (30), Iowa, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 10, 2008 Bottle… Beautiful, clear orange ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Good small, tight retention. Earthy, resiny nose offers pine needles, white pepper and pink grapefruit. Medium to full-bodied and a touch oily with sparkling carbonation. Modest, medium-roasted malt sweetness is more than checked by citrusy, earthy, snappy hop bitterness. Finishes moderately bitter and very dry. Big time thanks to Douglas88 for sending the bottle!
