Commercial Description:
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Deep orange amber with a rocky off-white head that laces the length of the glass. Huge aroma of fresh passionfruit and tangerines. Solid sweet malt base with deliciously fruity hops leading into a very bitter woody finish. A delicious IPA.

Nice, well-balanced, partly sweet, partly citrusy, generous head and lacing, non-abrasive finish. Very easy to put down quite fast. Almost right there at the level with Nectar Ales IPA.

Bottle poured into a shaker glass. Pours an amber/copper colour with a thin white head and good lacing. Aroma was sweet pine. Grapfruit bitterness in the flavour was very nice with a fruity, sweet finish. Really exciting IPA, especially if you aren’t a fan of pungent, strongly bitter hops.

Pours dark amber, somewhat hazy. Aroma of flowers, caramel, some hops and wet forrest. Flavor is full bodied, sweet, hops and a bit of pine flowers come through. Somewhat "light" IPA, doesn’t dominate with bitters. A very drinkable IPA, however I enjoy my IPA’s a bit more pungent. Overall not a bad beer.

Hopped. Fairly decent finish. Not the greatest IPA I ever had, but who knew Montana was in the game? I do know.

Amber-copper color with sculpted head. Aroma fruity with a strong floral overtone. Flavor unexpectedly sweet, almost candy-like. This is one of the few beers I’ve tasted that the sweetness is bearable, probably due to the tangy hops. Good body on the palate.

Slightly cloudy, but mostly clear. Deep burnt amber color. Biscuit head. Strong resinous pine flavor. A decent earthy IPA.

Tasted 9/21/07. 12oz bottle. Clear with a deep amber hue. Layer of bone white head. Decent hop nose. Nuances of bright red fruit, oranges and a touch spicy and piney. Medium bodied and well blended. Long bitter hop finish. Spicy and slightly peppery. Nice hop blend. Mild bready malts. Smooth rolling transition until the very end when it exploades bitterness across the tongue. Slightly sour, off-putting note. Almost dirty mop water. Is that too negative? More so an earthy hop flavor. But still nice.
