| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Tasted 9/21/07. 12oz bottle. Clear with a deep amber hue. Layer of bone white head. Decent hop nose. Nuances of bright red fruit, oranges and a touch spicy and piney. Medium bodied and well blended. Long bitter hop finish. Spicy and slightly peppery. Nice hop blend. Mild bready malts. Smooth rolling transition until the very end when it exploades bitterness across the tongue. Slightly sour, off-putting note. Almost dirty mop water. Is that too negative? More so an earthy hop flavor. But still nice.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 18, 2007 Clear, bright copper with a thin, fine head. Full gamut of hops aromas--citrus, pine, spice, and earth--all in measured, subdued amounts with some underlying grainy characteristics. All this is duplicated in the flavor without much dimension. Clean, medium body, fairly well-balanced with a fine finish. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

Poured a copper-orange body with a decent white fluffy head. Big notes of floral hops, pininess and delectable "it" quality. Fresh, clean, and crisp. A real treat of an IPA brewed in the PNW style.
