May 4, 2007 Bottle. Pours clear copper, thin white head. Aroma of pine and citrus with a little sweet malt. Lots of bitter hops, much more than I was expecting, with some orange and pine notes. Crisp and lingering bitter finish. Wow, very bitter.

May 4, 2007 Draft. Deep copper color with some orange highlights. somewhat malty aroma with some resinous pine and citrus notes. fruity with a slight honey note. Pronounced bitterness with orange and pine hop flavors. Clean, bitter finish. Nice.

May 3, 2007 Has an excellent hop aroma. Lots of up-fromt bitterness and that’s it. Its lacy and stringent on the end. Nothing worth remembering. Finish is very very bad.

Apr 26, 2007 Bottle... poured a darker amber color with a nice frothy head. Aroma of earthy hops and toasty malt. Really nice, broad palate with flavors of bitter hops, sweet caramel and more hops. This is a nice brew.

Apr 21, 2007 Orange in colour with moderate carbonation. Strong aromas of pine, flowers, dark and rich caramel malt, and juicy sweet orange. In the mouth there’s a bit of caramel and bready malts, but the main focus is on the very piney hops. Some notes of cut grass are also apparent. Medium bodied with a nice drying finish. A bit ho-hum, but a well executed IPA nonetheless.

Apr 20, 2007 This is good stuff!!! I wasn’t sure what to expect from this brewery but was pleasantly surprised. This is a full bodied, beauty. Close your eyes and give this one a sniff and you’ll think your hiking in the forrest...this is one piney mofo!! Taste is great...good hop, malt, bitterness balance. A slight soapy after taste is the only thing that takes away from this...not sure if it’s my glass or if they left this one in the fermenter too long. There’s some suspended particles and not sure what they are so this may have been on the shelf too long.
