Not a ton of bitterness. I wish it had a bit more malt backbone. Great beer. I have liked just about anything Big Sky brews. carruthm (1170), Seattle, Washington, USA

Fairly sweet. the clean malt acts only as a backdrop to the extravagant hops. where pine needles, shampoo and lychee abound. Finishes bitter, but not to the point you’d expect after the hop aroma. smith4498 (919), Miami, Florida, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 6, 2009 12 oz bottle. Aroma is of pine, good pot. This beer reminds me a lot of my review for Alaskan IPA. It’s a very basic, yet very good example of the style. My favorite Big Sky beer yet out of the variety pack I bought. brenn79 (211), Idaho, USA

Aroma and flavor of citrus, pine and a sweet caramel malt backing. Medium mouthfeel with a nice long hop finish. In fact, this is quite a hopped up IPA, just the way I prefer it. Good job BSB!
