Commercial Description:
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Aroma is amazing. Huge hop aroma. Taste is a bit tart with a lot of hop flavor. Not a ton of bitterness. I wish it had a bit more malt backbone. Great beer. I have liked just about anything Big Sky brews.

Bottled at Monks Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with rich and dense off-white head. Rich hop aroma of lychee, red grapefruit, gooseberries and flowers. Medium-bodied with notes of grrapefruit, crackers, lychee and grass. Long bitter and aromatic finish of grapefruit, lychee and grass.

Bottled ay Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Clear amber, small head. Perfumy lychee aroma. Fairly sweet. the clean malt acts only as a backdrop to the extravagant hops. where pine needles, shampoo and lychee abound. Finishes bitter, but not to the point you’d expect after the hop aroma.

Bottle courtesy of otakuden. Pours copper color with off white head. Aroma of sweet tangerines. Very bitter flavor. Slight malt sweetness. Medium body with average carbonation. The taste was a bit of a letdown after smelling the nice aroma.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is of pine, good pot. This beer reminds me a lot of my review for Alaskan IPA. It’s a very basic, yet very good example of the style. My favorite Big Sky beer yet out of the variety pack I bought.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear amber, medium head and lively carbonation. Aroma and flavor of citrus, pine and a sweet caramel malt backing. Medium mouthfeel with a nice long hop finish. In fact, this is quite a hopped up IPA, just the way I prefer it. Good job BSB!
