Commercial Description:
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Bottle at outdoor lunch spot in Bozeman, MT. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy and resin hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good drinkable brew and went well with lunch.

Bottled (at Chriso, BB 09/2009). Amber color, small steady white head. Fruity, piney-mango aroma. Piney, mango flavor. A bit sweet. Simple uninspiring IPA. Probably the best as fresh from tap, now just dull.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, tons of pungent pine, light citrus, slight skunk, light flowers, light grass, and some resin. Poured amber/orange in color with a large, rocky, off-white/tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is medium bitter. Tasted of hops, pine, grass, and a hint of caramel. Medium body. Oily, dry texture. Average carbonation. Medium bitter, hoppy, piney, finish is lightly dry.

Great IPA without the hoppy bitterness. Taste is a smooth malt that is well balanced.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a hazy, amber colored body, topped by a small head of yellow-white foam (with a slight hint of green) Aroma is citrus dominant (grapefruit) with good hop character. Bitter flavor with a crisp carbonation and full body. The bite of the hops starts small, then wells up into a huge blossoming of citrus notes, then hops, then a long finish of the two. This beer’s flavor profile had shape: round and expansive. Very nice indeed!

Bottle, with no glass to pour it. Hoppy aroma, with citrus and pine. Very sharp, with a long finish.
