750ml via trade, I believe with tytoanderson. 70th rating of this brew, another impy and another Big Sky Beer. Shared with dalekliz. Beautifal pour, black with a 2 finger head. Nose is sweet with a big punch of bourbon, nice nose, big sky, nice nose indeed. Taste is sweet and slightly bourbonny with a nice choco feeling. I gotta say I like this a lot, more than I expected. Quite good, and dalekliz likes it too.

750ml bottle from a recent trade (98 of 1152)....pours very close to black with barely brown edges and a nice fluggy light brown head.... really assertive aromas of coconut, vanilla, toffee, and bourbon. pretty nice actually.... flavors are nicely melded with chocolate, sweet vanilla, and lighty woody. lively carbonation and light body, wish it had more actually. really nice flavors.

Bottle shared by stopbarking at recent tasting. Thanks Daniel! Pours dark black with a tan head. Dmell is bourbon, vanilla, oak. Taste is the same with sweet, roasty malt and vanilla coming through and a great chocolate and bourbon mix. Very flavorful and enjoyable beer!

Best of the night at our April ’09 tasting. Pours viscous deep brown with a pillowy dark tan head. Nose is rich with chocolate, vanilla, coconut and coffee. The flavor is all of that well blended with a smooth creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle shared at rattle and Hum thanks to whom ever brought this. Pour a black body with no head. Alcohol, bourbon, molasses and licorice. Hints of soy, vanilla, coconut, chocolate, milk chocolate with more soy. A light woodiness with a milky finish. Decent. I think EDA had a seizure drinking this sweet treat, good times.

750 ml bottle. Pours black with a large brown head that lasted through the first third of the glass and left a partial coating of foam. Very pleasant aroma of caramel, raisins, vanilla, bourbon and some lightly roasted malt. The flavor is equally enjoyable with plenty of caramel, raisins, bourbon, vanilla and mild roast. A little hot on the palate, but that seemed to dissipate as the beer sat. An enjoyable offering from the folks at Big Sky.
