2009 Bottle - Pours a dk yellow with a small white head...aroma is kinda fishy, old grain, hops...flavour is similar, like bitter wet newspaper, slightly metallic and grainy...that was shit...

Not sure if this is the same as the dancing trout i originally rated, but i had this again yesterday at my buddy’s house: Poured a bright golden colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is initially malty with a hint of lemon, soft wheat and malts. Taste is pleasent, light and refreshing- still not exciting enough for me though.

On tap at the brewery. This golden ale poured with a thick white head and a floral aroma. There is a fresh wheat flavor with a trace of hop bitterness at the finish.

golden yellow. 1 finger head. smells of hops and just a bit of wheat. Hops come through really nice and pretty strong, but not real bitter. more i drink it the stronger the bitterness comes through, but still very drinkable to me. another really good session brew.

12oz bottle(Binny’s Naperville)-Pours a clear golden body with a nice small white covering for a head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, and malt. Taste of wheat and grains with a dry finish. This light bodied brew is not bad but its a bit of a harshness that lingers throughout the taste.

Nothing interesting about the initial impression but this is a good overall beer that has good flavor and better than average hoppiness. Easy drinking beer with good enough flavor to make this a sixer that I would buy again in a heartbeat.

From a 12 oz bottle this poured a clear golden color with a nice white head and very sticky lacing that stuck to the glass like Elmer’s White Glue. Nose of caramel malts and wheat. Smooth clean mouthfeel. Flavor is malty, and the finish is mild. Quite easy drinking.
