greedycheater (71), Oklahoma, USA Apr 19, 2008 Heavy, sweet nose with roasted barley. Thick dark pour with no head. Lots of flavor - coffee and molasses balanced by a mild spiciness. Very good.
radagast83 (1019), Springfield, Virginia, USA Jul 17, 2008 12 oz bottle. Friend brought this beer from a trip to Yellowstone. Pours a brown color with a nice medium quickly dissipating head. This beer smells pretty sweet, with a nice malt and caramel aroma. Well balanced and great for a quick relaxing drink. RCL (964), Boston, Massachusetts, USA Jul 17, 2008 Great mixed nuts in the flavor; mostly hazelnut and cashews. Dry hop finish balances the rich malt perfectly. Português : Cerveja de cor marrom escura com uma espuma suave de curta duração. Aroma adocicado com notas de caramelo e malte. Sabor doce com notas de açúcar, caramelo e cohocolate. Retrogosto balanceado entre o amargo e o doce. Excelente!!<P> RaginCajun (236), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 14, 2008 Dark brown body with a small head. Sharp malty aroma that quickly saturates with a slight hint of chocolate. Very sugary/malty nose; very nice malt profile. Has a small hops bite at the end to finish it off. This is a very complete and well-made beer; I’m a big fan. nbutler11 (29), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jul 11, 2008 Quality brew next to a tray of chips and salsa. Not very ambitious or complex, although I might have deteted a faint taste of peaches, but refreshing all the same.
