light, brown nectar. real thin brew, not thick or heavy at all. for some reason was really enjoying it this way even though i usually like thicker brewz. easy to drink!

Aroma of sourdough bread, pumpernickel, toast, coffee and dirt. Tastes similar with bready pumpernickel notes, mildly astringent coffee, and a bit of caramel. Finishes with toast, toffee and of course bread. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation and easy to drink. I enjoy the devotion to bready flavors. Pours a dark brown color with red tints and a light beige head. Aroma of roasted sweet malts, brown sugar, hops, and not much else- may have been too cold for other notes to show. Flavor was light for a brown ale, but caramel, other sweet malts, hops, and nuts were all present, with berry fruits late as it warmed and got lower. Light-medium bodied, with a chewy mouthfeel.
