| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 11, 2007 Bottle courtesy of Kyzr. Huge aroma of bourbon accompanied by notes of cherries, plums, dates, tobacco, and alcohol. Pours a murky brown with a thin head. Flavor is a mixture of all of the aromas with a dominant bourbon base rounded out by the fruity aspects of the beer. This one got better as it warmed and proved amazing to sip as the Mosely - Cotto fight wore on. Thick and complex. An awesome barley wine!
