Dec 4, 2006 A hazy dark amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy combined with notes of alcohol and prunes. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and quite a lot of hops as well as some grapefruit. The alcohol gives a slight burn.

Aromas of oaky/woodiness, bourbon, vanilla, caramel, and fruity. Tastes of bourbon, vanilla, lighter woodiness, caramel, and dark fruits. Some alcohol in the finish.

Apr 22, 2009 Hazy copper pour covered by a mostly lasting off-white head. Not particularly aromatic for a big beer. The nose stays into the mainstream cerealic caramel range. Flavours are mostly sugary, borderline cough syrupy. Grainy malt profile, more toastiness would help in that regard. Limited hop influence. Watery texture. The most interesting about this beer had to be its origin.
