Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of toasted malt, light carmel and toffee and a hint of chocolate. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of toasted malt, toffee and a hint of chocolate with a smooth dry finish.

Finally a great new winter brew. Excellent. Aroma is full bodied. Appeance is nice and cloudy with dark brown hue. Very little head. Mouthfeel is alright but a lasting aftertaste. Flavor is full bodied and very nice. Thick winter malts are nice.

Nice fruity, citrus, hops, and brown sugar aroma. Amber pour with an okay off-white head. Flavors of hops, fruit, and some caramel. Kind of metallic. Fairly thin mouthfeel.

Bottle poured dark amber with thin head and lacing.
Aroma and flavor of sweet malt, fruit, hops and brown suger. This beer has a bit of a metalic taste with a hopy bite on the finish.

Pours a copper color with a decent off-white head. Malty caramel aroma, slightly weak, nothing to get excited about. Decent sweetness and a light bitterness to finish.

Pours a nice copper brown with a good inch of creamy off-white foam. Pretty good lacing. Mild malt in the aroma, not much else. Initially malty and pleasant tasting, with caramel malt and a mild fruitiness. Non-descript hops are there for balance. Turns to just plain sweet in the aftertaste, almost like powdered sugar. Light bodied, gently carbonated. An ok amber, though there are better ones out there. As a winter warmer, it misses the mark.

Cloudy dark amber pour. Smells darkly fruity, some cherry and raspbery, as well as toffee. Tastes of plums, followed quickly by nuts and caramel. Bigger roasty flavors follow after that. Finish dries out the mouth a bit and tastes of plums again, followed by residing roast bitterness. Good transitioning flavors and a decent winter beer, but it needs something more to achieve greatness.
