Dec 7, 2005 Updated: Dec 17, 2005Malty aroma. Caramel / Toffee, nuts present. Thin lasting head. Decent lacing. Attractive dark red in color. Would be a little better if a little more hops were present, but this isn’t too bad. Maybe a little sticky on the palate, otherwise pretty good.

Nov 4, 2005 Bottle. Brownish red with a medium sized, creamy head. Aroma is a lot of roasted, nutty malt and caramel with a hint of fruity sweetness. Flavor is malty sweet with an acidic bitterness that complements the malt well. Finishes with a nice bittersweet alcohol taste. A good beer worth keeping on hand through the winter..
