Bottle. Poured red brown with lasting white head. Some lacing. Aroma of spice, citrus, honey. Flavour is malt, with spice, honey and something I can’t recognise. Honey/malt finish. Again worth drinking if you come across it.

Pours a clear dark amber with a half-inch head. Flavor is of grapefruit, dark fruit, a little bit of honey. There’s an initial pungency in the body that wears off slowly. Not bad overall, though quite forgettable.

12oz. Reminds me more of a brown ale than a strong English. Pours a mostly clear brown/amber with a thin white head. Aroma is roasted nuts and wood. Flavor has an initial hoppy bite, before you receive the dark chocolate cake and roasted nuts. Very little alcohol in the flavor. Finishes dry and astringent. Palate is medium bodied, but a bit dry for my tastes. Overall its a drinkable beer, but not one of my favorites.

Aroma is toasty, roasty, a little sweet, with a touch of aspirin. Pours amber ish. Flavors of toasted malts, caramel, toffee. Some roast all with a almost unpleasant medicinal finish. Not my favorite.

Golden brown color with a rich malt aroma. Smooth slightly bitter notes. An interesting beer with to me an odd aftertaste. Taste a little like a nutty caesar salad, strange even after a few bottles.

This reminded me a bit of a darker bock. Very malty but some good balancing dryness. A little nutty and some good roasted flavors. A nice winter warmer.

This is a solid ale, mostly on the sweet side. Nice malt backbone with some nuttiness to it. Could use a little more hops and body, but a good effort.
