Slight raisins on the nose. Burnt orange. Not much sweetness, almost "soapy quality. Not very well balanced. Good body, needs more carbonation. Way better winter beers out there.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium to deeper orangish color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of toffee, caramel, roast, and chocolate. Tastes of toffee, roasted and toasted malts, and lightly fruity.

Thanks to hopdog. Pours a lightly hazy ruby amber with a smaller bubbly tan head. Aroma of caramel, tobacco, some dark fruits, molasses and nuts. Flavor of toffee, nuts, toasty, dried fruits, some light citrus...but mostly malty and sweet.

Bottle. Pours brown-red with a small beige head. Aroma is caramel malt, various winter spices, chocolate, and some woody hops. Flavor is woody hops, metallic hops, some light fruit, caramel malt, vanilla, and winter spices. Gets sweeter as it warms. Not bad, but another in a long line of middle-of-the-road sweet/spiced winter warmers.

Poured a brown color with a hint of red. Malty flavor of carmel and winter spices. Very smooth and medium bodied. Average beer.

Bottle: Reddish brown pour with little to no head. A woody, fruity, caramel aroma. Sweet, malty flavor. This tasted much better than the aroma. Not too bad.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear mahogany with a one finger creamy head. Nice head retention and lively carbonation. Aroma is a bit funky almost metallic. Unfortunately, the finish had an overwhelming metallic taste. Initial flavor of roasted malt, nutty and almost undetectable spices. Easy drinking, but there are much better winter ales out there.

Amber color; moderate head. Aroma of caramel malts & cereal. Flavors of amber malts, caramel, Cheerios, bitter English hops, clove, ginger, white pepper and metallic notes.
