This one is better than the sum of its parts. The head is long lasting, color typical. The flavor is a bit dough nut sweet but mostly respectable, fresh, slightly piney hops. I would drink this again as it is a good stand alone sipper.

Nice pour, light amber with a creamy off white head that has lasted. Good lacing too. Lightly roasted, nutty sweet malt aroma with a good dose of citrus as well. Very clean, balanced flavors. The finish is good but ends a little sweet.

Nice gold color with a thin white head. Caramel malt aroma with hints of floral and sweatsock hops. Flavor is mostly a nice mild sweet maltiness with a floral light bitter finish. I enjoyed this one. Very drinkable with a good amount of flavor, but not too heavy.

Golden. Very light hoppy aroma. Mild weak hoppy bitterness. No real bite. Not crisp. Just ok, decent taste but not special.

Bottle. Thanks to cbkschubert for sending me this one. Pours a clear golden body with nice head. Aroma is of light citrus but wih a big malty nose. Flavor is bitter, heavy malty body, bitter citrus and slightly dry. At 4.7% I think this is a very nice afternoon beer.

cloudy organisch ale with not much of a white head, medium carbonation. smell of orange and lemon, hoppy. taste is citrus on the front and bitter on the back, mandarin oranges, and a bit of spice. nice crisp brew, good balance. yum.

12 oz bottle. Red/orange amber with med white head. Citrus aroma with some strawberry, with some sweet malt. Pine bitterness, some orange, very little malt backbone. Med body with crisp carb and little bit of chalkiness. Okay, not too exciting overall though and that chalkiness is a little bothersome.

i was pleasantly surprised with this local ale. it had a wonderful, citrus-like aftertaste that you don’t find more many pale beers. plus, i think mountain goats are cool.
