cloudy organisch ale with not much of a white head, medium carbonation. smell of orange and lemon, hoppy. taste is citrus on the front and bitter on the back, mandarin oranges, and a bit of spice. nice crisp brew, good balance. yum.

12 oz bottle. Red/orange amber with med white head. Citrus aroma with some strawberry, with some sweet malt. Pine bitterness, some orange, very little malt backbone. Med body with crisp carb and little bit of chalkiness. Okay, not too exciting overall though and that chalkiness is a little bothersome.

i was pleasantly surprised with this local ale. it had a wonderful, citrus-like aftertaste that you don’t find more many pale beers. plus, i think mountain goats are cool.

Draft at the brewery on 7/17/07. Deep gold with a medium off white head. Spicy aroma with some roasted nuts and a hint of burnt caramel. Medium body and carbonation, pretty smooth going down. caramel sweetness followed by and understated light peppery bitterness.

medium statured white head, retention is good with a decent amount of stringy lacing. Very clear, light copper hued ale. Nose is lightly spicey hops, faint citrus and caramel malts. Med/light body, carbonation is gentle but prickly. Medium sweet malts, caramel, light fruity notes, some citrus and grain as well. Dry clean finish, a touch fruity. jake65 delivered this one in our last trade, thanks bro!

Bottle. Neutral fruits, a bit of apricot nectar. Medium sweetness and mild fresh hops. Hazy medium orange amber with thin head. Medium water body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts with carbonic acidity, light neutral fruit sweetness and light fresh hops flavor. Dull papery end with light bitterness. Fairly clean after. Decent ale but nothing special.

12 oz. bottle via DYCSoccer17. Deep orange - very amber for a "pale ale." Average, moderate off-white head. Pretty biscuity, doughy-malty aroma. Hops are muted - slight herbal and citrus. More soft malt in the flavor, lacking in hops overall. A sharp, clumsily intercalated lemony zestiness pervades the flavor. A fairly bitter finish makes you think that they can have a generous hand with the hops, but perhaps should focus more on the front end in this case.

As "Unfiltered Dry Hopped Scape Goat Pale Ale"
On draught at the Big Sky brewery’s tap room in Missoula, Montana. Pours a hazy dark coppery amber brew with a thick and creamy off-white head that slowly dissolves to a fine film and ring. Aroma of multi-grain bread dough, a touch of citrus and mandarin oranges. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with a flavor of mostly caramel bread malt and a touch of citrus. Finish is slightly sweet with a citrus aftertaste.
