Light floral hop aroma backed by light malt. Orange tinted amber color with a white head that didn’t entirely leave, and gives a lace tease. As the glass approaches the mouth the hop aroma intensifies. Starts with floral hop. Some malt accompanies this, but it’s mostly about the hop. The finish has a little bitter, and floral notes hang around. If the carbonation was toned down, this would be close to an ESB. Really enjoyable.

12oz bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a cloudy yellowish-orange; white head with good retention and lacing. Pleasant citrus bitterness in the aroma; wet malts. Medium mouthfeel: lively carbonation; citrus / floral hops up front, with a nice balance of candy sugar maltiness; not a whole lot going on, but still a tasty, well-done pale ale; very sessionable. Medium, citrus and sugar finish.

Nice pale ale that gets a big tangerine citrus flavor from the hops that play well against the toasty, bready, caramel malt flavors with a touch of grapefruit in the finish. Strong hoppy finish to hold up to other Northwest overhopped pales and give a good crisp finish.

Pours a new copper penny color w/ a medium, semi creamy, beachball spattered froth. Recedes at a moderate pace to reveal a full canopy and lace. It just sits there, forever. Nice! Aroma is a little harsh w/ cooked citrus rind. As she warms it mellows a bit and some biscuits come out. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Cooked hops upfront w/ a mildly malted backbone. Not much else to speak of. The finish is highly bittered w/ only a pinch of caramel. Overall: Let it warm abit.

Bottle. Pours nice golden apricot color with little head which quickly dissipates. Floral aroma with orange notes. Initial taste is maltier with a middle of citrus followed by the hops and a sour finish. Light and easy to drink with moderate carbonation and healthy body.
