16 oz. Alumabottle. Pours a clear light-copper with a frothy off-white head that lasted through the entire glass. Pleasant citrus aroma. Flavor is a well-balanced combination of citrus and hop bitterness.

For an American Pale Ale, this didn’t stink. Amber with a frothy white head. Orange zest, honey, moss meets the nose. Light bodied and a thin but creamy tewxture. The flavor was sweet with some hop sting.

I like the lingering bitterness, but was disspointed with the lack of head retention. I also noticed a metallic aftertaste that creeped in towards the end. I still enjoy this beer, but not Big Sky’s best.

Unique hop aroma - grapefruit, pine, juniper. Tree bark bitterness balances a light malty sweetness. Very drinkable, flavorful and balanced.

No head, clear golden brown body. Very light graham cracker aroma. Taste is dominated by floral and bitter hops. Nice long bitter finish, but a little metallic taste creeps in.

Orange yellow pour, white head. Beaming hop aroma. Crystalline hops and diacetyls dominate the flavor. Somehow, the finish is somewhat sweet and oily.

Aromas of bread, weetbix and a tiny bitta fruit. Generally all wheat with some late pineapple to save it. Faint hazed light copper with a fizzy cream-coloured head. The taste is wheat all the way baby. and the body’s a bit watery with a grainy edge to the feel. Bitterness creeps up in the end in a dry murky way but it’s pretty quick. Like Emerson’s Maris Gold on a bad batch - barny wheat but without the body. An average summer quencher. Now I read the ingredients and description I get the English connection with Maris Gold.
