Bottle. Neutral fruits, a bit of apricot nectar. Medium sweetness and mild fresh hops. Hazy medium orange amber with thin head. Medium water body with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts with carbonic acidity, light neutral fruit sweetness and light fresh hops flavor. Dull papery end with light bitterness. Fairly clean after. Decent ale but nothing special

Had this awhile back and didn’t take good tasting notes, unfortunately. Just the good ol’ numbers.

Bottle from GBBF 09. Slightly vegetal, some white wine flavours too. An odd pale ale. A kind of gooseberry sauvignon blanc to be honest. Really a bit bizarre. Ok, but no way would I buy this again. Some lasting hop on the end.

Bottled (at Chriso, BB 07/2009). Yellow color, small white head. Bready pale malty aroma, hints of pear. English type hops, some citrus and bread. Refreshing but simple ale (as only 4.7%).

This seemed to me to be a fairly average IPA. The hoppyness was mildly aggressive with the color and aroma being the high points. If I where going to volume, this would be the IPA to drink. Not as heavy as some, but it’s not flavored water either.

12oz bottle thanks to dancingcaddis, thanks. Nice pale orange-yellow color, decent head, looks about as good as any other pale ale. The smell is nondescript and boring, there is really nothing that stands out. The flavor seems to follow suit, a little bit of biscuit flavor but other than that it is completely boring. I am not saying this beer is bad at all because it is very easy to put down but it is just bland overall. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 07-30-2009 02:09:06
