Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Lightly hazy pale amber, rich head. Lovely aroma of ripe mango and lychees. Fairly sweet with light-medium body and soft mouthfeel. Gentle honey atop light grainy malt seemlessly covered by lychee-like hops. The bitterness keeps creeping on, but ever gets aggressive. Perfectly balancedm unusually soft APA.

Amber colour with a finger of dense foam. Gentle carbonation. Fresh aroma of mandarin orange peel and a little bit of cedar. Moderately bitter. Very grapefruity with light florals and wood. There is a slight hint of caramelly/toasty malt but it’s rather subtle.

Bottle from GBBF 09. Slightly vegetal, some white wine flavours too. An odd pale ale. A kind of gooseberry sauvignon blanc to be honest. Really a bit bizarre. Ok, but no way would I buy this again. Some lasting hop on the end.

From the Bottle at Chris O’s 05/08/2009 Hoppy grapefruit aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with a little bitterness and dryness in a crisp malt finish.
