If there could be such a thing, this would be a great breakfast beer. I had this one first and very early in the day and found it quite enjoyable and subtle not overpowering with it different distinctions of flavor ranging from brown sugar and cinnamon to even a bit of a roasted, somewhat caramel aftertaste. Balanced and lightly complex, this would be a great session beer.

The aroma resembles wine in a way. Roasty, acidic, caramelly. A little thin, but with a nice burnt profile in the finish.

Rich black color with some dark ruby highlights with a tannish small bubbly head that fizzes away quick. Smells of oats, roasted malt with some chocolate and burnt cookie caramel notes. The taste was a little on the light side for a stout that looked so dark, but is pretty good non the less. Lots of solid oats, slight caramel, roasted malts and some slightly burnt chocolate tones. Has a nice smooth feel with a sweet tang, caused by the chocolate and from a very small hop presence. This stuff ain't bad, I actually liked it alot and would drink it any old time.

Bottle. Pretty good. Aroma was encouraging with some coffee and chocolate, but the taste didn't live up to it. A moderate stout.

Thin brown/ruby color for a stout with a small diminishing head. The aroma was nice... chocolatey, with a slightly roasted coffee bean character. The flavor just didn't really deliver...mild chocolate, subtle coffee, a slight sour note with no oatmeal flavor. The feel was a little too thin, but very creamy.

Well, it looked nice, but didnt live up to the promise. Too bland, too thin, to boring, maybe a beginners stout.

Rich, malty, chocolatety aroma. Tan, average-sized head; mostly disapating. Mostly opaque body with good lace. A little thin; certainly not as rich as promised by the aroma. Chocalate notes are evident in the tongue. A good session beer.

Nice Stout. This was my first forray into the dark heavy beer arena. Not too bad, but I must compare it to some other stouts. Nice after flavor, leaves you wanting more.
