| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 4, 2007 This is gold, bubbly, with a big, thick white head that dissipates slowly but steadily. The aroma is honey & grain. The taste is light, crisp, smooth, faintly sweet with honey, grain, and a biscuit aftertaste. It is very pleasant, tasty, but light and crisp. Not a rich beer, obviously, but very pleasing for a lighter beer, and highly drinkable. CasperQuaffer (142), Casper, Wyoming, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 27, 2007 A little more sour than expected for a honey beer. Some honey taste and a bit syrupy on the palate. There is a hint of the spices referred to on the label, though the flavor is diffuse. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2007 The beer pours from the 12 ounce bottle a slightly foggy gold with a portly bright white creamy head that dissipates leaving the lace a firm sheet upon the glass. Nosey is sweet with honey and malt, citrus like in its crispness, start has a pleasant honey taste, nice malt presence, the top light to medium in feel. Finish has a sparkling acidity, the hops underpowered, sweetness continues to the end also, a bit dry, a drinkable beer, maybe a bit to sweet for me, but not a major malfunction. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours out a golden colour with a thin white film on top. Slight carbonation, no lacing. Dusty grain aroma. Falvour is nice and light with a little honey but more hops. Refreshing summer beer. riversideAK (2779), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Light gold beer with a huge sweet honey aroma as well as some fruity floral notes. Light body. Sweet honey flavor dominates the traces of grainy malt flavor. Light and drinkable ale. goldbrew (99), USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 1, 2007 In glass on tap. The best part of this beer experience is the honey aroma mixed with that whiff like a quick jog by the mint patch. From there it’s forgettable. Slanted too much to an acidic dry finish. Doesn’t have that quenchability I’m looking for in a hot summer beer drink, say like a Mothership Wit or of course the many fine German weissbiers. Kudos to the label though, but I’d rather have my beer at least as interesting as the picture. Hammster (187), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 28, 2007 Bottle. Poured dull yellow with a smallish head. The aroma caught me off guard. There’s plenty of spice and definite honey note. The honey seems genuine too, this isn’t Leinenkugel’s panty-wearing aroma. I agree with the previous reviewer that there’s a big coriander note. But I taste honey too. This is also very leafy and green tasting too. This comes close to being very good but is only so-so; if the vegetable flavor were less intense and only the coriander and honey were highlighted, then this would be good. As it is, it tastes like one of my wife’s "experiments" after going to the farmer’s market. I can smile while having it, but would prefer to pass.
