this beer was not what I wanted it to be. while there is a good amount of delicious honey flavor, there is something off about this beer - perhaps the malt isn’t the right partner, perhaps there is a hop clash. tasted in the bottle at a Big Sky tasting at Beertopia. whiteish yellow color, with a clover nose, and good honey flavor. the palate is drying, and not in a good way, and the overall flavor - the total of honey pluse whatever else I was tasting, was just not right.

nice golden-honey pour (slightly copperish) with a nice lacy creamy froth, biscuity and slightly fruity aroma, I can’t smell or taste a lot of honey in this beer, only a very slight taste of pollen. Finishes with a slight lingering bitterness. and a lemony zing. I would amp up the honey and drop the lemon a notch to make it more of a honey ale.

Has an odd aroma - honey souring. Taste is strainy and also sour honey, and not good. Wouldn’t recommend or have again.

Pours a nice golden honey color w/ a medium sized, semi creamy froth that just sits there. These guys got the head retention to an art. Aroma of biscuits w/ a twitch of tangerine. Light nectar w/ crisp effers. Flavors are bright and crisp w/ citrus spice and a mild essence of honey. The finish is refreshing w/ mild bittering and a lingering biscuit component.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, golden with a white head. Malty aroma with a vague whiff of honey. Light-bodied with flavours of pale malts and then a fairly dry finish. The honey notes are present but subdued and never sweet. 290307

Bottle. Golden yellow, small white head. Smells of grain, lemon, a little honey. Taste is more of the same. Pretty good for its kind in the mouth, a little carbonated.
