| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 16, 2005 Pours golden with thin white head. It has very little aroma, there are scents of hops, honey, and maybe a little yeast.
Flavor is a little sweet, but not too much.
It does have a very Nice palate. Pailhead (2602), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

Aroma is actually rather minty, even moreso than honey. Pours a transparent yellow with a small white head. Flavor is citrusy with some light honey. Honey sweetness gets slightly stronger in the finish with a hint of bitterness and light acidity. Antother refreshing and drinkable beer, but does nothing to distinguish itself. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2005 12 oz bottle via trade with Indiana_Red - Thanks Ken! - Pours golden with a short white foamy head. Aroma of sweet honey over caramel malts. Flavor is malty with honey overtones and a touch of lemon and spice. Light hops finish the brew. Palate is light but not too watery. Crisp and clean. A pretty nice summer drink. PattyBoy (302), North Liberty, Iowa, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2005 Pours golden with a thin white head. Flavor is sweet, but not overbearing. Flavors of honey, lemon, and a hint of spice. Hops are mild, which is expected in a summer ale. I expected this to be slightly watery, but I found this to have a slight creaminess. Finished crisp. I found this to be a very good summer ale. DrunkAsASkunk (847), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 17, 2005 This beer pours a perfectly clear golden color with a very quickly dissipating white soapy head. Very little to no lacing left on the glass. The aroma is honey, wheat, grains, a little vegetable, and a touch of ginger...definitely strange. If you told me that these were the smells to expect in the aroma, I’d be scared shitless. Medium body, fairly clean aftertaste, somewhat sticky due to the honey in the aftertaste. Flavor yields some honey and citrusy flavors with other light fruits and perhaps a hint of canteloupe...Yes i know that sounds strange, but really this is the second beer in less than a week to taste like canteloupe. Also some grainy flavors toward the finish. Dry but not overwhelming, a hint of ginger in the finish. Carbonation level is weak to non-existant. A tough beer to get a grasp on for such a clear golden ho hum looking thing. beerbill (1971), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2005 12 oz bottle. I probably liked this beer the least of the brews I’ve had from Big Sky. Pours a clear gold. Some lemon flavor comes through along with some spice. I’m glad I tried it, but not worth having it shipped cross-country. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 9, 2005 I wish this had more to this beer. I liked the small hops nose but I did not get a hint but not the distinct flavor I was looking for. I did however like the fact this beer was very drinkable and I liked the fact it was a pleasant beer. I would give this to non-beer drinkers.
