Jun 13, 2009 Pours straw yellow with a thin white head. Smells of grass, some light honey and a little cherry as well. This beer tastes strongly of grass and hay. There are some nice grain notes which are accompanied by a faint hint of honey. Finish is grainy and refreshing.

Jun 10, 2009 Honey bear pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Fair amount of honey on the palate. Lots of money but suprisingly well balanced. I don’t know why i’m surprised but i am. Smooth all the way thorugh and finishes with a hint of sweetness.

May 30, 2009 At Sudwerk Beerfest 2009. This yellow beer poured with a thin white head and no aroma. There is a thin wheat flavor, and not much else.

May 27, 2009 This is not good. It looks like a urine sample and smells like some bad chemicals from when I went to the salon as a kid with my mother. All around bad...reminds of a name of another beer from this brewer....Moose Drool.

May 23, 2009 Single bottle purchase from the Binny’s in Plainfield, IL: This poured a clear golden body with a short head that soon fizzled out altogether. It has an aroma of fresh grain, honey, and grasses. It seemed watery and tasted of maize and honey blended with fresh mown grass, not altogteher unpleasant, but not something I care to repeat.

May 20, 2009 POurs gold with lots of carbonation but a small head. Aroma is sweet, faint grainy malts, very light o9range zest underneath. Flavor is bright, sweet fruity notes blend well with caramel and toast on the front end, fading to a dry, balanced finish with lots of toasty notes. Not overly sweet, which I feared it would be.

May 18, 2009 12oz bottle from my buddy Jason, picked up on his way back from Montana. Pale golden pour, had a thin white head that lingered for a little while. Light, sweet and some citrus on the nose. Favor is light, honey sweetness, a little lemon as well, a nice session beer.
