POurs gold with lots of carbonation but a small head. Aroma is sweet, faint grainy malts, very light o9range zest underneath. Flavor is bright, sweet fruity notes blend well with caramel and toast on the front end, fading to a dry, balanced finish with lots of toasty notes. Not overly sweet, which I feared it would be.

12oz bottle from my buddy Jason, picked up on his way back from Montana. Pale golden pour, had a thin white head that lingered for a little while. Light, sweet and some citrus on the nose. Favor is light, honey sweetness, a little lemon as well, a nice session beer.

Pours very light gold. Light aroma, hint of honey. Crisp, malt flavors, dry finish. It’s very drinkable, just nothing much to it.

Bottle. Pours medium gold with a 2 finger snow white head that leaves chunky lacing. The nose is a bit vegetal, grain, malt and honey. The taste is more vegetal flavor, bread, and sweet malt. Medium bodied. Strange brew.

2009 Bottle - Finally a beer with Honey in the title that doesn’t taste like hummingbird food!!!...pours clear golden with a small white head...aroma is grainy, stale bready, sweet malt...flavour is similar, light honey presence that doesn’t make this a sugary mess, and a ton of cereal grain, faint hop bitterness on the end...

Bottle from BevMo. Clear golden yellow with a medium quickly diminishing fizzy white head. Aroma of honey, light bread, cardboard, and hints of herbs. Medium watery body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor of honey, bread, wheat, pepper, and herbs. Very drinkable, smooth, and somewhat refreshing. I can see this being a good summer session beer. Decent.

Bottle from Papago. Pours straw in color with a trim white head. Smells and tastes predominantly of honey and yeast with added notes of lemon zest and crisp red apples. A bit too simple and not quite refreshing.

Pours transparent golden color with thin white head that dissipates to a rim lace after a few minutes. Nose is lemon-lime citrus, with a slight touch of vanilla icing. Clean & fresh. Palate is light to medium, with some herbal qualities that make me think of Kolsch, and some balancing honey sweet flavors in the middle. Toasty malt is present. Finish is herbal and somewhat dry. Very refreshing and a great summer alternative to the usual weissbier or kolsch.
