Summer Honey is a full flavored, refreshing summer seasonal ale. Brewed with a unique, balanced blend of spices, Northwest Hops, and Montana honey. Summer Honey is brewed during the early days of spring and released around the first of May each year. Light colored, light bodied, and very drinkable, Summer Honey sacrifices nothing to create a flavorful beer that can be enjoyed during the height of the Summer. Available April - September.

Light honey yellow in color with a small pencil width high head of even leveled, off-white, super tight, creamy foam. The head faded a little fast and has spotty lace. The aroma is very nice, very sugary with a touch of honey thats super fresh. Nice! Taste echoes the smell with a nice light sugary taste with sweet honey and a bit of hops showing up with a very slight lemon note that together keeps this nicely balanced and super smooth. Yum! Feel is a lighter to medium body, very clean, soft, and solidly smooth. This is some remarkable stuff, very unique, yummy, and very drinkable in my book. I think I have a new summer brew to add to my list, this summer honey of a brew by Big Sky is a must try.

amber in color with a medimum off white head, the aroma is complex honey dominates the sense, but it is blended with a light hoppy scent. mmmmmmmm. tempting, spicey immediatly on the palate but it smooths out just as quickly. it is light and can be easy drank. refreshing. great seasonal beer.

This is gold, bubbly, with a big, thick white head that dissipates slowly but steadily. The aroma is honey & grain. The taste is light, crisp, smooth, faintly sweet with honey, grain, and a biscuit aftertaste. It is very pleasant, tasty, but light and crisp. Not a rich beer, obviously, but very pleasing for a lighter beer, and highly drinkable.

Absolutely THE best honey beer I’ve ever had. Also the best Big Sky Brewery beer I’ve had maybe with the exception of Scape Goat. I would buy this again anyday of the week. I like honey brews and this was one the shit. Smooth and tasty.

Bottle pours translucent golden, small fizzly white head, spotty lacing, with abundant carbonation.   Slight malts and grains on the nose, as well as some lemon zest.   Forwardly malty, some slight spice flavor - lemony, with a sweet honey flavor.   Decent mouthfeel, slighty coating the tongue.   Finishes with a nice sweet honey like finish.   This is a great refreshing summer seasonal!

Has a spicy aroma like a Belgian wit and a wheaty honey flavour that finishes quick.

This was better than I expected it to be. I always like being pleasantly surprised. From a bottle, the beer pours a clear, light golden color with a fairly substantial bright white head. The head quickly subsides but there's always a thin layer of bubbly stuff on top. Aroma is faintly spicy and yes, there's a hint of honey in there. First taste is light maltiness followed by a nice fruity-spicy zing. Mouthfeel is good for a "lighter" beer of this sort. The honey aspect is pretty subtle but still quite detectable. I drank this on a cold, dreary March day--but I can imagine that it would be marvlous on a sticky, hot afternoon.
