Pours a rich mohogany color, with a nice amber head. Lots of herbal and mineral flavors and some girtty spiciness, this could be a little bigger, but overall is not a bad beer, for one pint. bu11zeye (5698), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 4, 2005 This was a really interesting beer, tastes like those chocolate covered cherries and wallnuts. Flavor was a bit to bitter, didn’t quite hit the balance, but lots of nuttiness and some spice comes through. A light herbal qualty comes out in the finish with the hops. Smells just like the holiday, but the flavor came up a bit short of that, but still not a bad beer at all. JoeMcPhee (5056), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Sweet spicy malty aroma, piny/spruce aroma, light spiciness. Sweet malty cooked toffee, piny resinous hop flavour but surprisingly low bitterness. Nice spicy finish.
