Very simple, standard porter. Not getting any smoke or liquorice, that’s for sure. BuckeyeBoy (1670), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 13, 2006 A wonderful porter, kind of gets away from the typical flavors and gets more into some of the baltic varieties. Slightly smokey, with a little hint of tobacco, and a great taste of licorice, that reminds me of drinking a twizzler. Rich and robust. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 16, 2005 On Tap at Bill’s: This beer was wonderfully dark with a espresso colored head and sticky lacing. It was thicker than most porters which is probably why I liked it. It has a rich, charcoal flavor that lingers in the nostrils. Rich is the word here. I thought it was really good. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 10, 2004 Medium dark brown. Biting hops, maple flavored malts and a brown-ale likeness with some vanilla. Again, a disorganized attempt... roasted nuts in the finish... but disappointing.
