Really not bad, a good thirst quencher.................. EithCubes (2152), Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 1, 2006 Bottled. Looks great in gold. Sweet malt with a little bread and flower in the nose. Same flavors in the mouth with a little grass to boot. Not very flavorful, though, overall pretty weak. Slight industrial feel doesn’t detract too much. Nothing special. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 27, 2006 This is what a lager should look like, a golden body with steady beading and a thick, creamy head. Unfortunately, after that this beer tends to disappoint. The aroma is a mild, sweet malt with a light floral & grassy hopping. The flavor is an innocuosly sweet malt not quite counter-balanced by the hops. It finishes on a watery sweet note. But it does look good.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden - almost amber actually - with a small head. Extremely smooth mouthfeel and a round, full body. Marked - almost nutty - maltyness and some sweetness. Subdued bitterness. A very good example of it’s style. 301002 hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 11, 2005 Golden coloured, thick white diminishing head. Malty, slight flowery aroma. Flavour is nothing extra, just the regular maltyness with a spicy hint. It also has some notes of vegetables in finish. Light bodied and thin. SledgeJr (2963), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 15, 2004 In the 0.5L bottle in Mannheim. My first experience with Binding was the Export. Light pale yellow, very effervescent in the footed glass that it was served in. Big poofy head that lasted a shorter amount of time than nearly everything consumed in Mannhein and Frankfurt. Crisp and refreshing, but nowhere near the substance of many of the helles served in this town. Eichbaum was a better choice. Mannheim wins the battle of the local beers in my book. Sorry Frankfurt!
