Good clean flavour, quite crisp. Faint maltiness and medium bitterness, both quite pleasant. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden - almost amber actually - with a small head. Extremely smooth mouthfeel and a round, full body. Marked - almost nutty - maltyness and some sweetness. Subdued bitterness. A very good example of it’s style. 301002 jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 26, 2007 From a 500 ml. euro bottle with no freshness date, sampled at a cooler cellar temperature in lager glass.
Poured a clear orangey golden with a nice sized frothy, foamy white head, good retention, small amount of sticking.
Aromas of honey and dusty grainy biscuits, floral and light whiffs of sterile alcohol.
Good moderate carbonation and a crisp, dry, smooth medium bodied mouthfeel.
Tastes of honey lemon and dry biscuity malts, a light sugary maltiness as well, a soft spiciness with a subtle herbal flavor, the alcohol has a grainy nature, and a dry, clean finish.
This was better than I expecting, quite quaffable.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of bread, malt, and some caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. KimJohansen (7047), Copenhagen V, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Clear golden with a tiny white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and mild hops. Flavour like wise. Finished dry. Oakes (8093), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 26, 2001 Relatively dry rendition of the style. Still has some good malty flavours, and isn’t a bad beer by any means, but it isn’t for those who love a full-on dortmunder. Cornfield (4941), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 27, 2006 This is what a lager should look like, a golden body with steady beading and a thick, creamy head. Unfortunately, after that this beer tends to disappoint. The aroma is a mild, sweet malt with a light floral & grassy hopping. The flavor is an innocuosly sweet malt not quite counter-balanced by the hops. It finishes on a watery sweet note. But it does look good.
