On tap at a place off Zeil between Hauptwache and Konstablerwache in Frankfurt. The label just said Binding pilsner- no Romer. Not too bad a beer. Very fresh tasting and crisp. Delightfully strong fluffy head atop the footed glass it was served in. Yellow and fizzy with a grainy flavor that works. One could pound a few of these in between apflewines on the Romerplatz.

Cereal! Decent hops, nice and smooth. A bit heavy slightly bitter finish. Brought back from Germany by a friend.

22 oz draft at Resi’s Bierstube, Chicago. Decent fresh lemony nose, medium lasting fluffy head. Clean, smooth, slightly malty, refreshing, but without a lot of character. Wish I could say more.

Grassy! Hay, bitter - somewhat thin, but I like it. Barely a hint of buttery sweetness.

Fairly non-descript but strong bitter flavor - this is the bitterest pils I’ve ever had in Europe. Also had it on tap, seemed less bitter - much more enjoyable. Not a good choice in bottles

Bottle. This one was not my cup of pils. Yellowed water colour, would have to be darker to be straw. Average lasting white head. Had a canned and straw aroma. No body. Unpleasant bitter finish.

Bottle. Typical malty German pilsner. Good drinking beer for a party of BMC people. Little head and low carbonation. Malty with a little bitterness. Not bad to have for a hot summer day.

On tap. Clear gold color. Sweet malts clash with an odd sort of hoppiness. Not bad but a little bland.
