Mar 10, 2004 The aroma is malty with hoppy notes. The flavor is malty with notes of straw and aroma hops. Very good for a low alcohol beer.

May 10, 2008 Very dark brown coloured beer with buttery malty aroma. Sweet sugar palate. Finish is sweet buttery and little spciy and herby.

Apr 27, 2008 Almost black coloured beer with an average off-white to brown head. Light buttery malty sweet caramel roasted aroma. Medium to full sprankling palate. Finish is sweet malty, caramel sweet.

Feb 17, 2005 Dark brown opaque, but with ruby highlights; yellow-brown to beige head. Cardboard, triplex, iron and... something brown. Malts, I presume? At first, very sweet taste, cola-like. But at the same time, a greenery flavour which associates itself with parsley to me, and a short bitterish spell which is, indeed, hoppy. Then pure sugar sweet. Rather well bodied, not cloying, slight fizzy edge. Not bad for an LA. Good stepping stone towards a Flemish Oud bruin, given a little acidity.
