| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 17, 2005 Dark brown opaque, but with ruby highlights; yellow-brown to beige head. Cardboard, triplex, iron and... something brown. Malts, I presume? At first, very sweet taste, cola-like. But at the same time, a greenery flavour which associates itself with parsley to me, and a short bitterish spell which is, indeed, hoppy. Then pure sugar sweet. Rather well bodied, not cloying, slight fizzy edge. Not bad for an LA. Good stepping stone towards a Flemish Oud bruin, given a little acidity.
