Commercial Description:
The Bios Kriek Lambic is sold under the CHERISH label in the USA and outside Europe. Everybody likes the right balance between the sourness of the Lambic and the sweetness of the fruit, in this case cherries. The aroma of the cherries is not too dominant, as it should be. The beer gives a very pleasant and refreshing feeling in the mouth, with a smooth cherry aftertaste. The Bios Kriek Lambic is an excellent thirst quencher, low in alcohol (5 % by volume) and great to drink at parties. True Lambic lovers prefer the Bios Kriek Lambic so much because you taste slightly more of the Lambic sourness, than in some more commercial Belgian Lambics, wherein the artificial sweetness is too strong.

Hazy ruby orange with a small white head. Smells like sweet cherries from a long distance away. Tastes more like Kool-aid than beer. Ends really sweet with some more sweetness thrown in. People that don’t like beer may like this.

I didn't expect much from this beer but I was impressed. It pours with a red body topped by a thin head with little lacing. The aroma is full of sweet marichino (sp?) cherries with slight malt notes. The flavor is slightly sour yet sweet with tons of marichino(sp? again) and a hint of malt. Light bodied, smooth and dry.

Light amber color without head. Huge cherry taste like a Jolly Roger candy. A bit too sweet for my liking, but not bad.

What a nice taste, this was a brightful cherry delight. Soft sweet smell, reminds me of hiwanian punch with some alcohol taste... This beer would go down just to easy... Loved it...

A tasty Kriek, full of sweet cherry flavor. Slightly sour at first, but ends with a cherry tang. Aroma a little bitter, but got better as it warmed. Overall, a good choice.
