Commercial Description:
The Bios Kriek Lambic is sold under the CHERISH label in the USA and outside Europe. Everybody likes the right balance between the sourness of the Lambic and the sweetness of the fruit, in this case cherries. The aroma of the cherries is not too dominant, as it should be. The beer gives a very pleasant and refreshing feeling in the mouth, with a smooth cherry aftertaste. The Bios Kriek Lambic is an excellent thirst quencher, low in alcohol (5 % by volume) and great to drink at parties. True Lambic lovers prefer the Bios Kriek Lambic so much because you taste slightly more of the Lambic sourness, than in some more commercial Belgian Lambics, wherein the artificial sweetness is too strong.

Drought. Red with small pink head. As lemonade but not that sweet. Still very sweet though. A bit dry, carbonated mouth feel.. Not bad a warm summer day.

Quite tasty and flavourful, though not as good as the raspberry counterpart of the same brewer. Raspberry is just kind of better anyway though. A bit on the fizzy side.

Bottle, bought @ Bierpaleis, Brügge.
Pours muddy brownish red with a dark pink, small and frothy head. Aroma has notes of cellar, cherries, light tartness, malts, plums and a touch of strawberries. Medium carbonation, a bit thinish mouthfeel. Flavour is nicely fruity tart, light notes of almonds, citric and cherries. A touch of fruity sweetness in the end. A bit like the Melborn Brothers cherry.

Hats off to Sparky for this beer. You are too generous Eric. Had the Cherish label with cherries and it did live up to to smell and name. Sweet cherries and lots of carbination, not as sour as would have liked, but still enjoyed

Taste 2/9 Bottle. (Cherish) Looks: Deep muddy red color with no head. There is none of the yeasty clusters mixed in the head. Aroma: Weird, smells like cherry candy with a little P-funk in the background. Taste: Sweet cherry unbeer. Teeth rotting sweet without the sour to clear the mouth. It is like a cherry candy. Tastes like Cool aid beer.

On-tap. The Rover. Gothenburg. Red colour with a small pink head. Lots of sweetness, cherries and marzipan. Mostly just sweet. I want more tartness/sourness.

8.4oz bottle Pours out a dirt dark brown with some red. Topped with a small pink head. Aroma of sweet fresh cherry. Along with a candy cherry pie filling. Tast more of the cherry and some sour. About all I can pick up is syrup.
