Notes are light cherries with a hint of musk. Not a very tart beer at all, but a great mouthfeel, just the slightest hint of cherries, even creamy with a good amount of carbonation. If this was 2 bucks instead of 3 it would definetly be my new session beer. Very very drinkable and tasty. boFNjackson (1322), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 24, 2009 Bottle... Poured deep burgundy with a beige head. Aroma of dark fruits like cherries and brown sugar. Not too dry, but a little dryness to complement the carbonation and tasted of tart cherries and sweet tones. A little metallic character came through before the finish and contained a little acidity. jzzbassman (850), New Albany, Mississippi, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 22, 2009 Bottle of the only sour ale that Bevmo carries. Pours a cloudy dark red with a small white head. Aroma is over ripe fruits, brown sugar, and mild sourness. Flavor is like sour candy. Loads of black cherry and mildly tart. Almost tastes under-attenuated. Reminds me of jolly ranchers. Full bodied and kind of sticky. Might be good for dessert. asedzie (457), San Francisco, California, USA

It has a strong cherry taste and kind of a vinegary aftertaste. I had to adjust to the sourness in the beginning. I really enjoyed the style. It was the first sour ale that i have tried. carruthm (1175), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 13, 2009 Clear rust color with an ecru head that’s fizzy but is kept alive by an etching at the bottom of my goblet. Black cherry aroma with some brown sugar and vinegar. Flavor is sweet with cherry and apple juice, a touch of vinaigrette, and some caramel. Not very sour really, and barely even tart. Definitely more sweet than anything. Body is very light, bordering on thin. Astringent dryness and a little metallic character. Overcarbonated.
