Fruity, sourish nose with red berries, cherries and a touch of vinegar. Fruity, sourish taste with notes of cherries, red berries, ripe fruit and a bittersweet finish. Slightly more than medium body, sweet and sour. A solid and well made sour red ale, but there are better. KAggie97 (2476), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

Must’ve had one of the last batches. Pours a deep, opaque mahongany with a nice head. Aroma is putrid; garbage bin trash and berries. Flavor is slightly tart strawberry that shifts to cloyingly sweet strawberry jelly. Full and coating mouthfeel. Good, but the sweetness (and the stench) detracts. More lambic than sour. ljay6880 (160), , Pennsylvania, USA

Pour was a deep mahogany with 3 or 4 inches of thick off-white foam. It was quite remarkable looking actually. It humped over the top of the glass (1/4 inch) in a solid form that looked like a thick root beer float; the lasing is also as good as I’ve ever enjoyed. Nose is sour cherries and harvested barley. Taste is sour cherries, barely, and light malt. Very bubbly, I’d swear I was drinking an odd champagne or a version of hard cider. This is a very tasty brew, but because of the carbonation, I could only drink one or two at a time. MaltOMeal (653), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA
