The flavor carries some grainy malt flavors, some biscuity malts, and a earthy presence as well. Some soft bitterness cleans out the finish. carruthm (1170), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a clear golden blonde brew with a creamy white head that has some nice retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some citrus zest, a touch of pepper spice and light yeast. Taste is light to medium bodied, with flavors of chalky golden grain malt, dry leafy hops and some biscuit character. Finish has a semi-dry texture with some lingering dry spiced bitterness. after4ever (2809), Brier, Washington, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Jul 3, 2007 On Draught at the Brewery. Aroma is sweet malt forward, with some caramel and no hop tones. Beer is a hazy yellow straw with a low white head. Flavor has a low malt character, solid bittering, with some grassy, citrus hop flavors. Slightly sour. Medium/high carb feel, medium body, no creaminess. Overall, not bad, but definitely not sweet or creamy enough for my tastes; too many earthy notes for the style.
